Greg is a former practicing lawyer turned consultant with expertise in policy, regulatory, and legal issues related to transportation and innovation. You may remember him from the Mobility Podcast as the “views are our own” person. Greg lives in Washington, D.C. and values the opportunity to work on mobility focused projects nationally. He is originally from San Diego and suffers through his loyalties to San Diego sports yearly. Greg was inspired to work on the convergence between transportation and innovation while on the legal team at the San Diego Association of Governments where he also supported the expansion of the trolley system. Greg has always appreciated learning and supporting storytelling, which is what drives his dedication to the podcast. He values time with his family and enjoys introducing new modes of transportation to his inquisitive toddler.

Greg Rogers is the founder of Aries Public Policy + Future Mobility Strategies and has worked across journalism, policy analysis, and federal advocacy in transportation. With a focus on automated vehicles, smart cities, and emerging technologies, he often broke ground on major developments at the national and state levels. He once left a lobbying career to spend six months as a rideshare driver—fully embracing life as an insufferable transportation nerd.

Sam is a mother, foster parent, public policy nerd, and city optimist. She’s a recovering public servant who spent a decade leading housing, sustainability, economic development, homelessness, and mental health policy in San Francisco City Hall and in the California State Legislature before hopping into the wild world of start up tech. In the private sector, she led nationwide government affairs teams for real estate, built environment and mobility tech. She is now Founding Partner at Common Good Strategies, a mission-oriented public affairs strategy firm that helps government agencies and start up tech collaborate to advance the common good.
